Being a stay at home mom myself, I was easily discouraged when I first sought out to make extra money all while staying at home with my children. I believed I would never find a real opportunity, real stay at home mom jobs!
Let’s be realistic, its hard to find a job when you have kids screaming, crying, laughing or just being themselves in the background. There are thousands of websites that try and sell you the dream of a stay at home mom job, but fall short on making it a reality.
Many places that do allow you to telecommute also require you to put time in at the office. More often than not, telecommuting is an earned position that is also performance based. I really struggled with this, I wanted to work.. But sending my children to a daycare was just not an option for me.
Don’t get discouraged and don’t give up! There are many great opportunities for stay at home moms, many are helping mothers make extra cash and in some cases bring in a great monthly income.
I have compiled a list of great opportunities, a list that will hopefully help others find their opportunity. Find their real stay at home mom job!
1. Blogging – There are so many blogs online. Nearly every website in some way, shape or form is a blog. Many people start their own blog, and many more pay people to write post for their blogs.
I will be honest, you can make a great living when you create a blog and attract readers. Attracting readers is the hard part.
2. Write Articles – If your not up for creating a blog check into the opportunity to write blog post. Many internet marketers pay people to write their articles for them. Depending on the quality and length you can earn anywhere from two dollars to seven dollars per article.
Think about it, if you only write two articles an hour you can earn as much as fourteen dollars an hour! All from the comfort of you home!
3. ChaCha – The idea behind this company is to answer questions sent via text message in a matter of minutes. They hire people as independent contractors to answer the text messages, all while in the comfort of your home.
There are countless ways to make money online with stay at home mom jobs, sometimes we have to think outside of the box to make our dreams a reality!
I know there are people always looking for a flexible job that will allow them to make extra cash. With that said, you won’t make millions but you will make a great chunk of change that will help make ends meet.
Explore your options, you can work for someone else or you can carve your own space out by working for yourself and building a dream career. If you work hard you might suprise yourself. The possibilities are endless!
